Finally our day in the spotlight has arrived!
Within mere minutes of begining our Camino from Pamplona, we were besieged by a busload of Brazilian journalists, working for various papers and magazines. They were doing an article about the Camino and conducted an extensive interview with us, including photos and personal details.
Questions included such gems as "How is it going so far?" and "What do we think of the Brazilian author, Paulo Coehlo?", famous for writing his own account of the Camino. Hugh´s quote regarding spiritual motivation went down especially well and is paraphrased below:
"I believe all of life is a pilgrimage, a spiritual journey and this pilgrimage of the Camino intensifies the experience."
A pair of pilgrims, who were only 10 minutes behind us were ignored completely. Truly our greatness was recognised.
